How To Style A Graphic Tee
Tuesday, March 20, 2018
I'm a tried and true jeans and tee kinda girl. I honestly think there's nothing easier than throwing on a graphic tee, jeans, Converse and minimal make up and jewelry for a daily style but sometimes I like to dress my tees up.
I am especially loving the graphic tee trend right now because there are so many ways you can style a graphic tee. Today i'm sharing a couple fun ways to style a graphic tee, thanks to Leanne from Leanne and Company. She sent me this cute shirt from her shop; Leanne & Co. in exchange for this post.

Southern Belle Summer into Fall Style
Thursday, October 19, 2017
It's finally feeling like fall here and i'm loving it! I've got windows open, pumpkin pecan waffle candles lit and the best part? I've brought out all my favorite leggings, boots and cardigans. There are still days in Georgia where the temps are in the 80's though so i've been looking for transitional pieces and pieces that are easy to layer. That's why ThredUp has become my "go to" place for shopping lately. With their great prices on name brand clothes you can't go wrong and you have the added benefits of shopping from the comfort of your own couch wearing sweats, drinking wine and binging your favorite Netflix show.

Tuesday, October 10, 2017
Last week I shared my best thrifting tips in this post; Thrifty Girl with ThredUp. This week I wanted to dive a little deeper into the specifics of Thred Up and show you one of the fashionable and affordable outfits I recently found using ThredUp.
Thrifty Girl with Thred Up
Tuesday, October 3, 2017
Vintage. Old. Repurposed. Those are all things we think about when we think of thrifting. I'll admit, it wasn't until the last couple years that I really fell in love with thrift shopping. I love anything vintage but the idea of thrifting just really wasn't my cup of tea but now I love it. Thrift stores and antique stores are my favorite places to visit. I love walking through on a cold, rainy day with a cup of coffee in my hand, just browsing to see what catches my eye. There's something extra charming about antique shops because everything there has a history. If the items could talk they'd all have a story to share.
Loving Lately-Summer to Fall Style

Hi Loves! Happy day sweet friends. I hope you are all enjoying a happy, cozy day today celebrating this Fri-YAY! It's the the end of our first week of school and i'm proud to say we've survived! This is my son's first year of high school but he's handling it like a champ, not that this mama is surprised but let's just say this-mornings are neither of our thing but we're holding tight, working together and making it work.
Spring Fashion with ThredUp

*This is not an affiliate link. I received free products in exchange for this post. All thoughts are my own.*
Today i'm sitting with my air conditioning off and my front door open because it's a beautiful 78*. Spring has officially sprung here in Georgia and I'm in love with the longer sunny days and all the pretty fashion. I love looking pretty and feeling pretty, too but I'm also all about affordable fashion; that's why ThredUp has become my newest obsession. ThredUp is an on-line thrift store that sells trendy clothing at super affordable prices.
My skirt and heels are ThredUp finds. Both are out of my comfort zone but they were so affordable that I didn't feel bad about spending money on clothing pieces that I wasn't even sure if I would like. Turns out I love them both but these heels are my absolute favorite. They're quickly becoming a spring fashion staple. You can really dress them up or down. You can see how I styled them with jeans and a tee in my Instagram picture below.
Right now they have a special promotion going on that I get to share with my fabulous readers. Enter code: SHOES50 for 50% off first-time orders. Discount good for up to $50 at check out. Happy Shopping!!!

10 Ways To Rock Your Confidence
Thursday, March 23, 2017
*This is not an affiliate link. I received free products in exchange for this post. All thoughts are my own.*
It's no secret that we ladies love leggings so when Chelsie from Hey There Chelsie told me about Simple Addiction leggings I just had to try them out. I started out by ordering one pair, then one turned into two and the addiction has just kept growing. They are so buttery soft and the prints are so vibrant and fun. They're practically all I live in. I'm all about dressing for comfort and style and with Simple Addiction you get both.
I have been blogging for three years now but I've never done a styled post. I always felt too shy in front of the camera and too self conscious. My body isn't perfect and for that, I could make a million excuses but I won't. All I know is that my body is something I shouldn't hide or be ashamed of, so I decided to take a huge leap out of my comfort zone and start doing styled posts. After Simple Addiction sent me an outfit I knew there was no turning back. I was committed so I enlisted my hubby as my photographer and we headed out to our property to shoot some pictures at our barn.
I'll admit, I was nervous and self conscious but I knew this was important; for me and all women. I regularly participate in a monthly styled Instagram challenge and so many of my sweet friends have said things like "you are so pretty" and "will you just take my money and go shopping for me?" Those are things I never thought i'd hear about my style but they sure do make a girl feel pretty amazing so I owe my boost of confidence and being able to step out of my comfort zone to all of you who support me and show me love. I want every lady of every age to know you are beautiful just the way you are and if someone ever tells you different then you don't need that kind of negativity in your life.
I challenge you to run to your closet and come up with a styled outfit then grab a camera and find a pretty location to take some pictures. You don't have to show them to anyone but keep them as a reminder that you are beautiful. Here's to celebrating our flaws and believing in our beauty.
Here are 10 Ways To Rock Your Confidence
1. Take time to put on your make up and fix your hair every day even if you are just getting into yoga pants or leggings for a day of blogging and house chores.
2. Take all the selfies your heart desires then go back through them and keep at least two.
3. For every negative thing you think about yourself think of one positive thing you like about yourself.
4. Think of a personal mantra and post it everywhere so you can see it often.
5. Keep a journal filled with all the things that bring you happiness and inspiration. It's okay to write stories that make you feel like the awesome babe you are.
One time when I was checking out at Ulta, I was having a rough day and thought it probably showed but the lady checking me out just kept saying how bubbly I was and how she loved my smile. I smiled all day after that and still smile when I think about it because it just made me feel good.
6. Go to Target (or the beauty supply section of any store) and buy a lip stick color that you wouldn't normally then go out and rock it!
It's un-comfortable at first but you'll be surprised how many compliments you actually get on it.
7. Keep a Happy List. It can be anything from received a gift from a loved one to got a new car to fresh mani! Whatever makes you happy makes you confident.
I used to post my Happy List on Facebook at the end of every day and it truly made me a happier more confident person. I think i'm about to get back on board with that!
8. Take 10 minutes out of your day and turn up your music and dance like no one is watching, even if your blinds are open and all the neighbors can see.
9. Make it a habit to (mentally) point out what you love about yourself daily. In the pictures above I can say that I truly love my eyes and something as simple as that can boost your confidence.
10. Take care of your skin. Find a skin care routine and products that you fall so in love with that you want to use them daily and nightly. Not only will you feel more confident, your skin will be all glowy, too.
So cheers to all my friends. You are beautiful inside and out. I believe that and you should, too!

Currently Crushing On Blush
Tuesday, March 21, 2017
Hi sweet friends. Spring is in the air or at least we're all dreaming of it, right? I love all the pretty pastels and neutrals this time of year and all the pretty flowers that are popping up everywhere. I'm not a fan of the pollen but we have to take the bad with the good, right?
Here in Georgia we're stuck somewhere between winter and spring but i'm ready for the cold weather to pack up and take a hike. My azaleas were blooming in my back yard two weeks ago then a cold snap happened and they're dead. Good news is that not all of them bloomed so there's still hope. Anyway, all this has me so excited and ready for spring so I thought I would share with you what color i'm currently crushing on for spring. All the blush things, please!
I've even created my own outfit for spring with all the blush. I hope you find inspiration in this post. I'd love to see an outfit you create using blush. Just tag me on Instagram so I can see your pretty inspired #ootd and follow along with the #simplystyledmarch Instagram challenge.

Christmas Shop Small {LuLaRoe}
Tuesday, December 6, 2016
Hi Peachies. Happy Tuesday. Our Christmas Shop Small feature is about to come to a close and I'm a little bittersweet about it. I've enjoyed featuring all of these lovely ladies and their small businesses over the last month. I've had nine of the sweetest ladies selling everything from skin care to baked sweets to make up, jewelry, and the prettiest printables ever. I'll be doing a round up post when the feature closes so stay tuned for that.
Today's featured lady is one of the sweetest ladies you'll ever meet. I consider her part of my tribe in the blogging community. In fact, she has two blogs of her own Simply Love (lifestyle) and
Fawn + Linen (style for mommas and babies). When you visit her blogs you'll fall in love her her style and her genuine personality. She's all about simplicity and love and that speaks to my heart.
So let's get comfy and welcome Janelle.
Hello Janelle. Welcome to my blog sweet blog. Can you tell us a little about yourself?
I am a wife, a new mom, a creative soul, and blogger. I live in Charlotte, North Carolina and taught school for nine years but have recently launched my own LulaRoe boutique and am loving it! I also love the beauty in life and am inspired by people, books, scandanavian decor, cafes, florals, photos, color, and living the most healthy life possible. I thrive in the thick of love and understanding the massive human impact each one of us most definitely has on one another. I light up and live in my truest passion when surrounded by people or when on i am on my yoga mat. I often feel like i was born in the wrong era (the 1940's are always calling my name! + add blogging!) and am attracted to anything - vintage. simply love.
What inspired you to become a part of the LuLaRoe community and become fabulous sales lady for the company?
I followed a few girls on the west coast for about a year and LOVED what I saw... it's creative, the clothes are cute/so comfortable, and I wanted to get business experience for future adventures. But most of all, I wanted something that allowed me to be with my son. It's been perfect for our family.
What does the LuLaRoe company stand for and what does it mean to you?
LulaRoe; where through fashion we create freedom, serve others and strengthen families. A place where lives are blessed and dreams achieved through love, confidence, purpose, and growth. And I have seen so much of this already. It means everything to me that family is so important to them.
What makes you most excited about sellingLuLaRoe?
Honestly, seeing people's eyes light up when they try on clothes and feel beautiful! Or the messages I receive about how happy and confident they feel when they wear the clothes- it's the best!!
If you could only wear one piece of clothing from LuLaRoe for the rest of your life, which product would it be? Why?
I adore the Amelia dress! It's comfortable, cute and perfect for everyday or for dressing up.
The pockets and zipper make it my absolute favorite.
What is your best selling item?
Our super soft leggings, Irma tunic, and Carly dress.
What is your favorite thing about the LuLaRoe, as a whole?
The community of people! The customers are fun and loyal and the other consultants are all about collaborating and need competing- I love this. They are there to help, inspire, and build you up.
How can all our readers see all the LuLaRoe products?
I have a VIP page on Facebook where I post giveaways, style ideas, and host online Pop-Up Shops.
VIP Page: https://www.facebook.com/groups/lularoejanellemonaco/
Are there any special LuLaRoe promotions currently?
I do giveaways all the time and offer free shipping on outfits regularly.
Do you host parties? If so can you tell our readers about how those work?
Yes! You can earn free clothes just by being a hostess. I offer you a pair of leggings for hosting (both online or in your home/my home) and then you earn 10% towards clothes for everything that is sold during your pop-up.
Lastly, how can my readers get in touch with you about ordering or booking a party?
You can always email me at janellemonaco.lularoe@gmail.com for anything at all!

Sunday, November 20, 2016
Hi Peachies! Can you believe that the count down to Christmas is on? I wasn't going to post anything Christmas related until after Thanksgiving but then I realized the amount of posts I wanted to publish on my favorite holiday ever and realized that there's no better time than now to start sharing the holiday happiness.

Since my family has always started with stockings on Christmas morning, I thought I would start this gift guide off with the best ladies stocking stuffers I could find. Oh Hey, Friday!
Friday, October 28, 2016
This morning while I was standing in the kitchen having coffee with my husband {a total weekday treat because usually this is a weekend thing. Monday thru Friday he's usually out the door before i'm even out of bed} he said "you know what the best part about Friday is? When I asked what I couldn't help but giggle at his answer. "Saturday" that's what he said. Saturday really is the best thing about Friday, y'all but you know what else is good about Friday? The Oh Hey, Friday! link up with the always adorable Karli from September Farm.
Today's top 5 is all about my favorite things from this week. So happy reading y'all and Happy Friday!
On Wednesdays We Confess
Wednesday, October 19, 2016
Hi Peachies! Happy Wednesday! I'm hoping y'all are having a wonderful day. I'm sitting on my couch with the windows open, my diffuser going with Relax and Eucalyptus and American Housewife on the tv so it;s safe to say my day is going pretty good. Today happens to also be my favorite blog posting day of the week because it's time for On Wednesdays We Confess with my sweet friend Mistle from Sweet Tea and Hydrangeas.
So let's get ready for some confessions.
Oh Hey, Friday! {Retail Therapy}
Friday, August 12, 2016
Happy Fri-YAY Peachies! I'm super excited about this Friday because it means we've survived one whole week of school and we did it with minimal mishaps. I mean, there may have been frozen pancakes served for breakfast one morning and we may have gotten caught up in a senior parade and my child might have asked me how long it would take to print out pictures 5 minutes before we walked out the door this morning but we made it. I'd like to say thank you to the Keurig makers and to the coffee makers. Also, I'd like to thank the makers of energy tea and Coke products, too because without them this week wouldn't have been possible.
Yes, that's all that has gotten me through this week. Caffeine. And a shopping trip yesterday because something else fun is happening this weekend. We're going to a wedding. Weddings are my love language y'all and i'm seriously excited to be officially welcoming my cousin's soon to be wife, Alex in to the family. (Yes my husband's name is Alex, too!) Tomorrow is the big day for this sweet girl and I'm so excited for her and my cousin. Y'all can be on the look out on Instagram for pictures tomorrow evening. I'm sure it'll be a beautiful event.
Since it's Fri-YAY it's time for Oh Hey Friday with Karli from September Farm. I'm going to confess here, y'all. I've been a shopping queen lately. Okay, so mostly it's been for the weddings we've been going to but shopping is therapy, right?!? So i'm going to share with you 5 things i've bought lately. Don't worry honey, it's therapy, it's covered by insurance. Oh, no?!? It's not?!? Well, it makes me happy so there's that.
Five Things {Retail Therapy}
1. ELF Cosmetics Make Up Brushes
I had to snag these brushes up when I found them for .50-$1.00 a piece last week.
They've quickly become some of my favorite brushes for applying eye shadow/liner and blending.
They're brushes that belong in every girl's brush container.
2. Cover Girl Tru Naked Roses Palette
This picture does this palette no justice. It has the most gorgeous shimmery gold and rosey tones.
I love using the golds as eye liner or as a highlighter. It really is everything.
* I went into Francesca's yesterday looking for accessories to wear with the outfit I bought for the wedding tomorrow
and ended up with this gorgeous bracelet and all the other accessories to follow.*
3. Gold Bracelet from Francesca's
4. Gold & Blush Earrings
5. Champagne Tassel Necklace
And because i'm not done, you get one more bonus item.
6. Gold and Tan Clutch
So that's what i've been buying lately. I'm obsessed with the outfit i'm wearing tomorrow so stay tuned to see the whole thing put together.
Happy Fri-YAY Peachies!
P.S.-I may have bought this shirt from Francesca's on line, too.
Yes Way Rose
Now, go pour yourself a glass of Rose and enjoy the weekend.
