I still have a couple wedding pics, that gorgeous sunset pic from our wedding, and tons of screen shots left though.
Oh, and pics for blog posts, too.

There's nothing super exciting about my phone but I think you can tell a lot about a person's personality by what's on their phone. Hopefully you get nothing but happiness and good vibes from what's on mine.

Oh Hey, Friday! {My Obsessions}

Hello Pretty Peachies! Happy Fri-YAY! It was our first week of Summer Break and it was glorious. We've done a lot of sleeping in and spending family time together playing games. I've also gotten a lot of cleaning done and we've gotten to spend time outside at my parent's pool, soaking up the sun and gorgeous weather. There have been dinners eaten on the back porch and a couple of cook outs, too.

This is absolutely my favorite time of year because everything seems to slow down and we get to soak it all in. Which I adore. You know what else I adore? This link up with Karli from September Farm Oh Hey, Friday!

Here's how it goes.

You can join or just check out her fabulous blog. If you do you should read it from start to finish, you're sure to laugh, smile, and nod in agreeance the whole way through. She's a bubbly, gem of a person & that's just what I know from her blog. She keeps life real.

How does this link up work?

1. Well first off you list 5 things. They can be as random as you want or all about one subject, there are no real rules here.
2. You link up your post at the bottom of hers, not mine. I'm not that fancy.
3. Then you grab the button, from below & add it to yours.
4. Then you spread the word about your blog, her blog, and everyone else's you want.
(I added that part-duh!)

Oh Hey, Friday!
Let's talk about my obsessions lately.

1. Reality t.v.
Okay, so I used to be a reality tv junkie then I started laying off it because, well, I didn't have time to watch it. Now that it's summer and my son is on the X-Box in the living room a lot I've been sitting in my bed in the mornings, candle lit, Willow pup sleeping by my side, cup of coffee in hand, blogging and watching reality tv. The Bachelorette, Real Housewives, and Southern Charm are my guilty pleasures.

2.Floral everything
Let's talk about how gorgeous all the floral things are. I'm totally in love with all of them and totally wanting every floral thing I see.

Pink Floral Dress+Floral Plates+Floral Cupcakes

3. Helene from Helene in Between posted this post with video the other day on her blog about her make up routine and I was instantly smitten. I think I need an Ulta overhaul now! I'm definitely obsessed with everything about this!

4. Fringe
I'm loving the fringe trend right now. Give me all the fringe!!

Bachelorette Bracket + Insta Pics

Hi Peachies! Welcome back to my internet Haven. My own little piece of web paradise. I hope you are all having a day as beautiful as you are. Pour yourself a glass of sweet tea, kick off your shoes and get ready for all the juicy-ness of the Bachelorette and some of my pretty pictures from the week.

I'm going to confess something here. Are you ready to hear it?! I've been a fair weather Bachelor/Bachelorette fan! The first couple seasons I was hooked then it became too much drama for me. But when I was cruising blogs the other day I came across a blog that I immediately fell in love with, Chel Loves Wine. She was talking about her Bachelorette League and giving away prizes. I decided to join in the fun and join her league. Monday morning I sat in bed blogging and watching The Bachelorette while filling out my bracket. Now i'm addicted to The Bachelorette again.

Y'all, i'll be the first to admit that I'm not big on tv but I just knew that this sounded like fun & it is! I'm so glad I'm doing this. I'm taking time out to do something I enjoy and it feels good!

You can see my bracket here.

At this point i'm totally rooting for James T. He seems so genuine and sweet and he bought her a pair of cowboy boots. A true Southern Gentleman. Maybe that's why my fingers are crossed for him. I'm a sucker for a Southern Gentleman. Part of why I fell for my husband but sorry ladies, he's taken. James T. seems like the kind of man who will treat her like a lady and give her respect.

My next choice is Alex. He's hot! He has the same name as my husband, he's a Marine, and he can do push ups with her sitting on him. What more could you want? I mean, other than James T.

I'm really trying to figure out why she kept Daniel around? It must be for the drama factor. Ugh! Unfortunately, I think he'll be around for a while.

Ladies, who are your choices for JoJo?

If you follow me on Instagram or snapchat:georgiapeachy82 then you know i'm thoroughly enjoying our summer break so far. No lie, y'all, sleeping in and having all day to do what I want to do is glorious. We spent Tuesday hanging out at my parent's pool and yesterday cleaning my desk space and i've enjoyed every second of it.

Here are some Insta pics from the last few days.

On Wednesdays We Confess

Happy Wednesday Peachies! I hope you are all having an amazing day today!
It's time for some confessions with Mistle from Sweet Tea and Hydrangeas.

On Wednesdays We Confess.

+I Confess I'm obsessed with this weather. Sunny and highs in the upper 80's.
If you follow me on Snap Chat or Instagram you know I was eating it up yesterday.

+I Confess I joined a Bachelorette League and filled out a bracket. More on that in a post later this week.

+I Confess watching snap chat is like watching tv. I have hours upon hours of snaps to watch every day.

+I Confess a friend is having a LuLaRoe party on Facebook and I want it all but we're watching what we spend right now. HELP!

+I Confess i've cooked dinner every night this week, so far, and have actually enjoyed it.

+I Confess I haven't used my planner for blogging this month. I've just been winging it and I feel like i'm doing pretty good.
I also confess that I miss my planner.

+I Confess summer break is my favorite time of year. Sleeping in is my favorite. I feel a little guilty that my husband can't be off to enjoy it with us though.

+I Confess I'm addicted to the new zebra cake/nutty bars from Little Debbie. And i'm not a huge Little Debbie fan anymore!

+I Confess We're almost at the end of May and I haven't even looked at my goals. Oops.

+I Confess I sent one of my sweet friends a tee shirt earlier in the week, she got it yesterday and her FB post to me made my day. It's made my day today, too! I love making others happy.

So Peachies, share your confessions in the comments below!

Week 21: Bad Habits of Mine

Hi my beautiful Peachies! How is everyone today? I'm incredibly awesome because today is the official first day of summer break for us. I slept in TWO whole hours this morning. My son is still sleeping in and Willow pup is asleep in her Daddy's chair on the other side of the living room.
Plus, when I got out of bed this morning I realized that my house isn't nearly as big of a mess as it usually is on Monday mornings.
It's a Monday Miracle!

You know what else is awesome about Mondays? This super fun link up with one of my blogger besties, Sarah from Sarah Emily Blogs and Ashley from Girl Talk.

Link-up with Sarah Emily Blogs and Girl Talk Blog every Monday for the 52 week blogger challenge!

Rules for the Link-up
1. follow the prompts exactly or put your own spin on them
2. make sure to add our button to your post and link up with us
3. visit other blogs and show them some love
4. the link up will close in 5 days!
Welcome to {Week 21:Bad Habits of Mine}

1. Rolling my eyes and heavy sighing.
Ya'll, I think I was just born this way. I find that I roll my eyes and sigh a ton. I can't help it and I can't control it. It just happens. Even when someone is asking me something that I don't mind, I do it. Luckily everyone close to me has learned to accept it. Love y'all. Mean it.

2. Cracking my knuckles.
Again, can't help it. It's a habit I started forever ago and continue doing. I know it isn't good for me but we all have our vices.
Cracking knuckles is mine.

3. Cleaning.
Yes, this can be a bad habit when you do as I do. I'm notorious for cleaning up people's glasses they are drinking out of. If it's left unattended and I see it, odds are, i'll clean it up. I've also been known to misplace my husband's things before while cleaning the house and forgetting where I put them. Ooops.

4. Painting over existing nail polish.
Because sometimes I don't want to take the polish off and start over but I don't want chips in my nails either.

5. Falling asleep during movies.
I'm not kidding when I say my hubby and I have probably watched 6 movies together in our four years of being together.
I sit down to watch a movie and that's all she wrote. Even if it's a movie that I really want to see.

6. Wanting everything in my house in its place and spotless.
This is something i've really been working on this year and I feel like i'm making huge progress. On the weekends I do no cleaning, other than the kitchen and maybe a load of clothes. I will not ever be okay with food and dirty dishes left out but i'm taking more time to enjoy being with my loved ones and having adventures than focusing on cleaning house. I realize my house will never look like something out of Southern Living Magazine and i'm okay with that. If you come to my house you may have to over look the dust and the dog nose prints on everything but I promise, you'll laugh and make memories here and more likely than not, eat a ton of good food.

7. Not asking for help.
The Good Lord knows this is my downfall and he sent me my husband to help break me of this.
A typical evening at our house goes like this.
Me in the kitchen cooking, my hubby just coming in from a long day at work.
Honey: Hey Love, Do you need any help?
Me: rolling my eyes. No, babe. I've got it.
Honey comes in the kitchen, looks and me and says "what can I help you with?"
Sometimes he even takes what i'm doing away from me because he knows I need help, I just won't ask.

And with that comes #8.

8. I'm stubborn to a fault.

So there you have it. Some of my bad habits. I'm not a nail biter, i'm not addicted to anything. Not a shopaholic.
Just a modern day June Cleaver want to be with Lucille Ball antics thrown in and I cuss a little, too.

(I added that part-duh!)

I'm beyond exhausted today, y'all. It's been a week for the books. You know how the week before vacation is the longest week in the history of weeks? Yeah, that was this week. My son is officially on summer break now! Woo Hoo! Praise Jesus, seriously y'all! I'm praising Jesus because this is how my week went.

Monday
There are seriously some days when you just have to laugh to keep from crying. First I couldn't find my car keys (found them) then my dad called me to see if I had Drago with me (I didn't. Dad found him though), now I'm sitting at the BOE and my car wouldn't start (got it started). I'm just trying to make it through the day w/ grace upon grace but really all I want is one of those fancy tents in the back yard, not your mama's cherry colas, & endless crafting. I'm done adulting! But it was nice to have lunch with a sweet friend @ my favorite place!

Tuesday
Guess who is still winning at life today?
That's right. This girl!
Today's shenanigans have already included going on a search & rescue mission with Drago in my parent's basement to find my cat. Then slipping & falling on my back porch while I was walking Drago. It wasn't his fault, i'm just clumsy. I'm glad I was with the most sympathetic & caring dog of the bunch though. He covered me and kisses & cried while I was down. Willow would gave taken advantage of the situation and ran away, in the pouring rain.

Wednesday
I had to slam on my brakes while my son & I were on the way home from school. When I did my car locked down. It never stopped running and I was able to pull over on the side of the road and wait for my Dad to get to me. Of course, when my Dad got there and hopped in the drivers seat the car drove like it always had.

But that summed up my week. With all that and the anticipation of Summer Break, I was certain that I wasn't going to make it through the week. But look at me, sitting here on my couch typing this out like a #girlboss. This week didn't break me after all. I win.

Now, with that said, are you ready for my 5 random Friday things?

1. I Struggle With Comparison on Facebook from Alexandra was the most loved thing I read all week. All the heart eyed emojis because it's so true!

2. I had much needed and overdue girl time with my hairdresser, magician, therapist, sweet friend yesterday.
I hadn't had anything done to my hair since my wedding in September. I definitely needed it.
Nothing makes me feel better than time with my sweet hairdresser!

3. Willow had her two BFFs over on Tuesday. I had to take two of my Mom's dogs to the vet for her so they got to have a playdate at my house.
I love every one of these babies.

Willow had a playdate today. They're BFFs. #willowsoto

Since I wrote that blog post i've found out that she's keeping the movement alive. You can link up on Instagram every Thursday using #theimperfectboss. That makes me happier than you may ever know!

#theimperfectboss

Hi Peachies! Today's post is one that I had no plans of even writing. I had never heard of #theimperfectboss until yesterday morning. I was sitting on my couch, sleepily sipping a cup of coffee and browsing Instagram after reading my daily devotional. I was feeling extra inspired when I happened upon this hashtag and started looking at the lovely pictures with captions like "sometimes I put my kids in the bath so I can check e-mails un-interrupted" or "I have 3 strangers on my e-mail list. I love them." Seriously, y'all, these are some of the most inspiring posts in the Instgram Universe. It's just women being real with each other.

I knew I had to join in on this wonderful, inspiring hashtag but first I had to locate the source. I found her, y'all and she's basically everything. Do yourself a favor and check her awesomeness out at Fire and Wind Co. If you ever can't find me, her page is where i'll be.

So I was inspired to share my own #theimperfectboss photo.

It's not that I don't love my family and personal friends, I very definitely do but often times I feel even more blessed with my blogging friends. The way I picture my life is a lot like being in a baseball game. I'm on the field and when I look into the bleachers, they're filled with both real life friends & family and my blogging friends. Every single one of you is my cheerleader in the game of life. Even some of my real life friends I met though other friends, through Beachbody Coaching, through 31 Parties, and similar places.

We don't have to know each other personally to lift each other and inspire one another and I believe that's what life is about. Lifting each other up, supporting one another, inspiring one another and being the best I can be. I want everyone else to succeed, too because I know my worth isn't based on how well anyone else does. I just want to invest in people who invest in me. I truly believe in surrounding myself with people who believe in me and are going to help me succeed. So if you're part of my tribe, you know it and it is because you are the kind of person who brings out the best in me. And I can't thank you enough.

Unfortunately the movement #theimperfectboss ran May 16-18 and I found out about it on the 18th so it's done but still, go check out the hashtag on Instagram. If you're inspired to share something on your heart then leave me a comment below or send me an Insta, Snap, or e-mail.

On Wednesdays We Confess

Happy Wednesday Peachies! I'm so glad you're hear to celebrate the middle of the week with me. We're so close to the weekend and for us, summer break! Only two more half days of school for us! YAY! It's also time for some confessions with Mistle from Sweet Tea and Hydrangeas.

On Wednesdays We Confess.

I Confess it's rainy and gloomy here today. Usually I wouldn't be happy with that but I need time to just relax and rainy days are perfect for that!

I Confess i'm obsessed with my Willow pup. She's so cute when she's asleep and her tail is wagging. I like to think it's because she has a happy life with us.

I Confess there are only two more mornings of waking my son up to go to school! Summer break is almost here!

I Confess I've taken two webinars in the last week and i'm so pumped up and inspired!

I Confess I'm still loving my monogram on my Mac and my rtic cup and my dog mom mug.

I Confess I'm still eating cupcakes from Saturday's cupcake festival.

I Confess I'm getting more obsessed with Instagram again. I've always loved it but the obsession was running thin until lately.

I Confess I'm obsessed with the hashtag #imperfectboss. I just found this on Instagram this morning. Trust me, you won't be mad that you looked it up.

I Confess I put together a Sunshine Mail gift swap with my personal friends at the beginning of the year.I got the sweetest message from my partner today saying "All of my gifts from you=happiness! Every time I use one I smile-got to use the notecards today!"

I Confess I can't stop listening to Meghan Trainor's new album Thank You

I Confess Having lunch at my favorite place with one of my sweet friends earlier in the week was perfection.

I Confess This post from Alexandra I Struggle With Comparison is everything.

So Peachies, what do you want to confess? I'm about to slip into yoga pants and indulge in social media all day so y'all stop by and say hi!

Week 20:Meet My {Tribe}

When it comes to life I've got the best tribe ever. I have wonderful parents, grandparents, siblings, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends ever. I'm not just saying that y'all. They all traveled from different states to attend our wedding last September in Florida. Every single person came from another state to watch us become a family of three and celebrate with us. If that's not love then I don't know what is.

My family put on the reception all by themselves. Food and decorations beyond my biggest dreams. My in-laws gave us our dream rehearsal dinner at our favorite restaurant in Panama City. My Sister in Law and Aunt were my bridesmaids, My cousin was my flower girl. My hubby's best friend and our son were the groomsmen. My sweet friend Crystal did my hair and make up. It was truly the best day of my life. The memories we made, not just at the wedding but through out life, are some of the best memories I have. I carry them so near to my heart.

They say your vibe attracts your tribe but i'm not sure what vibe i'm putting out because my tribe of people are so much more than I deserve. I'd give anything in the world to be back at the beach, surrounded by every single one of you (and the ones who couldn't make it, too). This time we'd be celebrating all of you and your love for me and my family.

Come on and join in this super fun link up with one of my blogger besties, Sarah from Sarah Emily Blogs and Ashley from Girl Talk.

This link up is such a fun way to start the week off.

The Happy List

Hi Peachies! Happy Saturday morning. Usually Saturdays are my favorite days of the week because they start off so slow.

I get to wake up in the bed next to my husband and spend time snuggling, then he makes me the best cup of coffee ever. Seriously, he knows how to make coffee better than anyone else. And then we spend more time snuggling on the couch with the dog, laughing and talking.

Saturday mornings are my heart and soul. I feel like my hubby & I re-connect on these mornings and I feel so refreshed. This morning though, my already exhausted hubby is having to work two hours away from home. I'm not going to lie, I miss him. I am blessed that he has an amazing job though and he allows me to stay at home. Anyway, enough about my morning. Let's get to the fun stuff.

You know what makes me happy?

Oh, Hey Friday!

Hi Peachies! Are ya'll all cozy with your cup of coffee? If not, what are you waiting for? I'll wait while you go grab a cup.

Now that you're back, it's time for one of my favorite link ups with the always sweet, Karli from September Farm for Oh Hey, Friday!

Here's how it goes.

You can join or just check out her fabulous blog. If you do you should read it from start to finish, you're sure to laugh, smile, and nod in agreeance the whole way through. She's a bubbly, gem of a person & that's just what I know from her blog. She keeps life real.

I took Helene from Helene In Between's How To Monetize Your Blog Webinar earlier this week and I am all kinds of inspired now. Like, just want to stay home and work on blogging all day every day, kinda inspired. I also want to take a million pretty pictures like her, too but that's beside the point.

After taking her webinar I decided to look at my personal blog's Pinterest file Peachy Keen Blog
and see how many of my pins have been liked and re-pinned and how many times. So this post benefits me as much as it does you. I'm slightly ashamed of that but not really because there's a lot of awesomeness here.

On Wednesdays We Confess

Hi Peachies! I'm here for Wednesday Confessions with my new sweet friend Mistle from Sweet Tea and Hydrangeas.

On Wednesdays We Confess.

I Confess my guilty pleasure is Southern Charm on Bravo.

I Confess I got a mani/pedi on Monday. My mani already chipped, i'm kinda disappointed.

I Confess I want to paint my nails today but don't know what color. Get your vote in on my Insta now.
Instagram.

I Confess I'm proud of myself for holding it together yesterday when I had to go in my son's school
because we were on lockdown at dismissal. There was a manhunt for someone who shot at an officer and fled.
They did catch him 4 hours into the ordeal but our Willow pup and I were in the school for about an hour
until we got our boy and could leave. I really wasn't freaked out until we were driving to my parent's house.

I Confess I'm anxiously awaiting Helene's Monotize Your Blog Webinar to start. Chatting with everyone is so fun!

I Confess I can't stop walking outside and staring at my blooming Peony.

I Confess I love my monogrammed rtic cup, my dog mom mug and my monogram decal on my Mac.

I Confess I love having a sweet neighbor who gave me cute home made cake plate and bracelets for Mother's Day.

I Confess I'm proud of my 7th grader for getting an award on Monday night for having all As and Bs this school year.
And he's in all gifted classes, too.

I Confess I need to come up with my blog schedule for May, still.

I Confess I should be vacuuming and mopping.

I Confess It's time for Helene's Webinar to start so I've got to sign off.

Happy Wednesday Loves!
What are you confessing today?

Happy Monday Loves! I hope you all had a lovely weekend and a wonderful Mother's Day. I know I did. I'd give you the run down but it's exhausting. But seriously, we spent a ton of time outside with family this weekend because it was in the 80's and sunny.

Mother's Day was a huge blessing. I got to soak in time snuggling with my hubby then was showered with gifts from my loves and both sides of our family. Later today i'm treating myself to a post Mother's Day mani/pedi but first, it's time for week 19 of the 52 Week Challenge with one of my blogger besties, Sarah from Sarah Emily Blogs and Ashley from Girl Talk.

I love starting the week off this way. It's a great way to get my mind going on a Monday morning.

Today's prompt is {Week 19: Most Embarrassing Story.}

This is one that my hubby and I laugh about now but it wasn't really funny to me at the time.

*Just a little backstory, in case you're new here. My hubby & I were best friends for 13 years before we started dating. So we were super comfortable with each other.*

We hadn't been dating long, at all. (Maybe just a couple weeks.) We were sitting in my room one night, hanging out (purely innocent, ya'll!) and talking but in my heart I already knew he was the one. We had taken this huge jump from just friends to boyfriend and girlfriend and nothing had ever felt so right before. So we were sitting there talking, when before I knew what happened I blurted out "I love you" then immediately wanted to crawl under the bed and die. I must have turned 50 shades of red when it happened because I really was that embarrassed. In my mind, it felt like an eternity before he responded. I was sitting there thinking "What if he doesn't feel the same?" "What if I just ruined my best friendship?" "Can I just die now?"

Finally he responded with "I love you, too." I was so relieved but insanely embarrassed. He was trying so hard to be a respectful gentleman even though we had been friends for so long. I guess that's what happens when you're so relaxed and comfortable with one another. You just blurt things out and hope and pray that they feel the same way, too. Lucky for me, he did then and still does now. We've been together 4 years and married for 7 months.

And now you know who said "I Love You" first.
At least my embarrassing story does have a happily ever after.
And they say Fairy Tales aren't real!
All you need is a big mouth Southern girl and a proper Southern gentleman to make this story come to life.

What's your most embarrassing story?
