May Goals

Hello Beautiful Peachies! I hope you're all having a wonderful Wednesay! I had this post ready to go on Monday, not thinking about my link up with Sarah. I thought i'd publish it on Tuesday but forgot about my link up with Karli so here we are on Wednesday and i'm finally putting my goals out there. Four days into May but better late than never, right?

The beginning of the month often sneaks up on me but I love it because it feels like a fresh start every month. It's like New Year's 12 times a year. I love the chance to reflect back on the goals I set the month before and set new goals for this month.

Speaking of goals, it's time to look back at April's Goals and see how incredibly awesome I did.
Actually I forgot I set goals in April. I'm not even kidding.
It's also time to make goals for May, that I may or may not keep.

I may need an accountability friend for life.

April's Goals

Personal

+ Work out 5 days a week
Win/Fail
Some weeks I did. Some weeks I did not.

+ Eat healthy. Fresh fruits and veggies. No more junk.
Win/Fail
I ate way more fresh fruits and veggies.
I still ate junk, too.

+ Read the Whole 30 so I can start that after my 28 day challenge.
Fail
But it's in my car for those 30 minutes a day I spend in the car rider's line
every afternoon.

+ Get myself on a schedule that includes working out and time for journaling
Win
I finally found a schedule that works in both of these things,
I just didn't always do them.

+ Start my skin care regimen again.
Fail
No excuse. This one is just a fail.

+ Clean one room a day.
Win
I was pretty good about this goal.
It just makes life so much easier.

+ Spend at least one hour a day outdoors.
Win
The weather has been in the 80s and sunny most of the month.
We spent a lot of time outside at my parent's house, sitting by the pool.

+ Live more intentionally.
Win
I've really been working on spending time doing things that actually matter.
Doing things I really enjoy, rather than things I think need to be done.
It's been amazing to switch my perspective on what really matters.

+ Spend evenings more un-plugged.
Win/Fail
I have been trying and I have been cutting back but I still haven't spent an entire evening un-plugged.

  1. Great job on accomplishing a lot of your goals last month! I have also had a fail/win when it comes to eating healthier. Some days i do really well and the others I don't do so great at. I need to look into scheduling out posts but have yet to. I just signed up for Helene In Between's webinar. I have been wanting to do a blogger swap and I am looking at hosting a giveaway this month. Good luck on your goals this month!

    1. Thank You for your sweet comment and your encouraging words! Honestly I forgot I even set these goals last month, that's why a lot of them are May's goals, too! My hubby & I did so good last year, before our wedding when it came to working out an eating healthier but since then we've failed! Scheduling posts seems like a wonderful thing, i've just got to get better about having them written so they can be posted. Thanks again sweets! Have a wonderful day!

    1. I just adore you and your sweet words. You've got yourself a deal. By the way, if you have any of the beach body programs then my coach has a few open spaces for June. If not, we'll still be each other's accountability besties! Living more intentionally has really been on my heart a lot lately. It's so easy to get lost in life that we forget to be present in the moment. We've been enjoying a lot of time outside by the pool at my parent's house lately and we've limited our son's internet time in the evenings so the evenings we're home he's wanting to watch tv together and play games. That's been nice.
