Mama's Retail Therapy.

Today is the first day of school here in Georgia. Yes,it's only August 5th but we get out at the end of June so we go back earlier than everyone else in the country, too. To be honest, it's a bittersweet time because, of course, I love having my dude home with me during the summer and we can do as we please whenever we want but I also hear a lot of "Do we really need to go to Target today?" Target is interchangeable with everywhere else I want to go. Add that with a lot of huffing and puffing, eye rolling and mumbling b/c he doesn't want to go anywhere & summer gets boring. Fast. So I am happy to have my eight hours a day back to do whatever I want, especially if it involves leaving the house-which is exactly what I did today.

I took my 7th grader to school, but not before I snapped a few pics.

That was as good as it got but he was cooperative for those. Beggers really can't be choosers.

After I took him to school I decided it was time for me to enjoy my first day of freedom by shopping so I made my way to Marshall's because hello! Cute clothes, cheap Essie nail polishes and tons of other cute things! If I had all the money I would've bought the entire store. Okay, not the entire store but a lot of it. Here is what I bought though.

Two comfy, basic tee shirts and two pretty new nail polishes. I've been on the look out lately for basic tee shirts that aren't super clingy. I found these two that are amazing. And of course I can never say no to a nail polish, especially when they're on the cheap. Essie polishes are /2 price @ Marshall's so I forsee myself buying lots and lots more.

I'm always on the look out for basic tees so where do you shop for them?
