Top Three Tuesday

I post a list of daily happies on my Facebook page at the end of almost every day as a reminder to be thankful for the little things. I see too much negativity and un-happiness in the day to day life and and it shouldn't be that way because there is something to be happy for every day. I hope that my family and friends catch on and join in, sometimes they do, sometimes they don't. My hope is that even if they don't post what made them happy for that day then maybe they're at least thinking about it and changing their mindsets.

When I saw this post from  Top Three Tuesday Becca Dorr I realized instantly that I wanted to join in.  I saved my post I had just typed out for tomorrow and hopped on this because we can all use a little more happiness in our lives. To join in simply list Three Things that make you happy in the comments below or write a post and leave it in the comments of mine & Becca's posts.

ONE. Tomorrow is my baby brother's 20 something birthday. We get to celebrate with him and his friends at an epic pool party at my parent's house on Saturday. I look forward to his parties every year. So much fun + he's the only one with a summer birthday! Happy Birthday to my not so little brother/best uncle/best brother in law/best friend we could ever ask for. Brothers are friends from birth, at least this one always has been.

TWO. Six more days and I get to go to my final wedding dress fitting and I (fingers crossed) get to bring my dress home with me. Guess i'll be cleaning out the spare room closet this week/weekend!!! Eeeekkk!!! 67 days until I say I Do!

THREE. Doing absolutely nothing today and loving it. The laundry is caught up, the house is tidy, & I don't feel like going anywhere today until my fiance gets home. Then it's back to school and honeymoon clothes shopping for this family of 3. Our 12 year old is less than thrilled though so pray that he survives. Seriously, the pre-teen years...ugh!! As If!

What are your top 3 today?

And special thanks to Becca for this lovely idea! It sure was fun!!!

    1. I'm beyond excited for my final fitting! YAY!!! Isn't it nice to do absolutely nothing? I love it, too! And once school starts everything gets crazy here, too. The only part about it that i'm looking forward to is 8 hours to do what I want without hearing whining that we have to go here and there. :)

      I hope you're having a wonderful day!!

  3. Love how you are cultivating gratitude! There is a great quote that says Gratitude turns what we have into enough!

  4. Sounds like a great summer---my birthday is next week and I always loved having a summer birthday. Both of my kids have winter birthdays and it still stumps me every year on how to celebrate. Have a blast! And so fun to be in the countdown phase to 'I do's' !!!

    1. Thank You so much for your sweet comment! Summer birthdays must be the most awesome. Between Jan-Feb we have about 12 birthdays in our family and small group of friends. My son's is in there, too so it's always been so hard to plan something fun for him. I've got my plans to have a summer baby next time :) Happy Early Birthday Week to you!! (Because we believe in celebrating the whole week here)

I'm so excited about the countdown phase of I Do's. I'm not even stressed about it!!

I hope you're having an amazing week!
