Thursday Goodness.

Well Lovelies, we've almost made it another week! YAY!! It hasn't been too bad of a week for me, though I did find out some devastating news (that's not mine to share) about someone close to me. All I can say is that prayers are needed.
I always look forward to the weekends because that means sleeping in and enjoying lazy mornings hanging out on the couch, drinking coffee, snuggled under my favorite Vera Bradley blanket. Seriously, y'all, we don't start making ourselves pretty and getting ready to head out of the house until about 11 a.m. but this weekend means that we're that much closer to my birthday and that also means my sweet son has Wednesday-Monday off school. Bring it on because i'm all about trading my 7 a.m. wake up calls for sleeping in for 6 whole days!

Enough rambling, let's get on to the goodness!

Today my mom and I went to this whole/natural foods store that i'd never been to. I love Whole Foods and Trader Joe's though. This store is called The Fresh Market & while I wasn't really impressed with their prices, their produce was amazing; especially for this time of year in Georgia. I ended up getting my son some tomatoes and strawberries because he loves both but we haven't been able to find good ones lately. I was impressed with their pre-packaged veggies that were already cut and portioned for you. I'm kinda kicking myself for not getting the squash and zucchini. They have a meat counter that serves already prepared cuts of meat, you just have to cook them. I should have gotten the pecan crusted chicken but it was a little pricey for 3 people. This is all the goodness I bought. I can't go anywhere without buying fresh flowers for my kitchen table. So those were a definite.

They also have this bakery counter that is pure torture when you're trying to watch your calories.

All I got were two cake pops for my sweet boy. I said I wasn't going to give in and eat one.

But I caved when I was waiting in line to get him from school. Oops.

Right now I've got chicken covered in the Mango Coconut Dressing I bought there in the oven. I can't wait to try it.

I'm sure everyone has seen the skit from the Jimmy Fallon Show floating around today. The one with the Saved By The Bell cast. It's classic. I still watch SBTB when I get a chance so this made my day.

Here's the video, in case you haven't seen it.

Then there's this. This is possibly the best news I've seen in a looong time.
Magic Mike XXL

You're welcome Ladies.

I'm not even ashamed to admit that I grabbed my phone as soon as I woke up this morning to watch this. It was better than coffee. Just sayin'. Don't Judge Me.

That's it for today lovelies. I'm going to try to be back tomorrow with Foodie Friday.
I hope you all have a wonderful evening.
