Monday Coffee Talk Pt. 5

Hi Peachies! I hope you're all having a wonderful Monday. It's raining like crazy here and i'm having a hard time keeping my eyes open today but it's still an amazing day because I'm choosing to see it that way. Plus i'm able to stay at home in my comfiest sweats and eat cheesecake and chocolate chip pumpkin muffins and my honey's left over smoked ribs. So yeah, basically i'm bumming and stuffing my face today. Sometimes I love rainy days like this, it's the perfect excuse to stay snuggled in. I just wish my guys were home with me, especially since it's our one month anniversary today. It's been an interesting month to say the least but it's shown me that our bond is even stronger and that we can get through anything together. I'm desperately trying to finish up my "It's A Love Story, Baby Just Say Yes" posts for the rest of the week but since i'm not quiet there yet, I Figured today was a good day to bring back Monday Coffee Talk. I haven't done one in forever but here's how it works. Monday Coffee Talk is where bloggers can list three goals they wish to accomplish for the week. They can be personal, business, blog related. Whatever it is you want to accomplish, just write 'em down and link 'em up. Usually i'd go over last week's goals first and see how I did but obviously I didn't do that last week so we're just going to skip ahead to all those things I hope to accomplish this week.

1. Finish the last of my Thank You notes and send them out.
I got the first wave done after my bridal shower but with our wedding & reception we were blessed with even more beautiful, wonderful gifts.
I did bake a cheesecake and sent it with my hubby to work today for him to give one of his work partners/friends because he and his wife went
above and beyond in the gift department. There are also pumpkin chocolate chip muffins for him to take everyone else because a lot of his
work friends have been beyond generous and kind to us. Some of them even traveled from Georgia to Florida for the wedding.

2. Finish my "It's A Love Story, Baby Just Say Yes" posts & the two sponsored posts that I have scheduled for this week.
I've been missing my blogger community lately. With everything we had going on I haven't had much time for blogging and my groups.
I'm super excited for a couple of opportunities that have come to me in this area of my life. It's given me that extra get up and go.

3. Start making and selling my jewelry again.
Again, with the wedding this got pushed to the wayside but I'm missing it something terribly. I'm not to the point of selling it big time but
my hope is that around the beginning of the year I can accomplish that goal and start selling in small boutiques.

AND a bonus goal

4. To get back on my work out/eating healthy routine.
We've been so bad about eating out since before the wedding. So yeah, a month of eating bad and not working out is catching up with us and
we're not feeling good. It's time for a change.

So there you have it, my goals for the week.
What are yours? We can tackle them together!

  1. It's been awfully rainy here lately, too. It's been perfect cuddling and just hanging out weather. Oh and I had every intentions on going to the gym today, but Gilmore Girls binge watching will not let me leave. haha

  3. Hmmm, only three goals? I could write a novel! But I won't.

    1. Finish a blog newsletter and get it OUT THERE!
    2. Work a bit ahead on some blog entries, especially those that involve cooking or wine tasting.
    3. Stay on top of goings-on at work, because the next two weekends are going to be hell!

    1. YAY for goals. It's such a great way to stay on task and accomplish things. I like breaking them down into 3 a week, it seems more manageable and less overwhelming that way.

You can totally do this blog letter! You've got it! I'm feeling you with the working on blog entries, too. That needs to be one of my goals all the time! And good luck on work!

    1. Thank You so much! I just love getting these sweet comments. I love this post idea because it helps me stay on track and not feel so overwhelmed with goals. That coffee mug was one my mom bought me a while back. I think it came from Pier1.

I hope you have a wonderful week, too!

  5. Love having goals to focus on... and rainy days to cuddle up during and relax. :) I'm hoping for some more rainy days here SOON. And weddings, they definitely seem to have a knack for derailing our schedules and throwing everything off, huh? :)
